These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Golivo, including the desktop application and the getgolivo.com website. By downloading, installing, or using Golivo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Golivo.

1. About Golivo

Golivo is operated by Olena Kobylnyk, Ukraine.

Golivo is an independent software product built for Etsy sellers who manage listings in bulk. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Etsy, Inc.

The term ‘Etsy’ is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Golivo — the desktop application or the getgolivo.com website — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Golivo on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on that business's behalf.

3. Using Golivo

Golivo is intended to help Etsy sellers prepare, create, and update listings in bulk using local files and spreadsheets.

You are responsible for your own Etsy account and shop, including its content, policies, and your compliance with Etsy's own rules.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and files you provide to Golivo, including product data, images, and spreadsheets.

4. Connecting Golivo to Etsy

Golivo connects to your Etsy shop through Etsy's official OAuth authorization process. When you connect a shop, you authorize Golivo to access your shop through Etsy's API on your behalf.

Golivo does not receive or store your Etsy password; sign-in takes place on Etsy's own authorization page.

You can disconnect your shop from Golivo at any time.

You remain responsible for your Etsy account and for complying with Etsy's own policies, seller terms, and applicable rules.

5. Listings and Changes

Golivo's Listing Creation feature helps prepare new Etsy listings from spreadsheet data and local files. Listing Updates helps prepare changes to existing listings and provides a before/after review before those changes are applied.

New listings created through Golivo are saved to Etsy as Drafts; they are not published automatically. You choose when to review and publish them.

Updates to existing listings require you to review the changes and take a separate, explicit action to apply them.

You are responsible for reviewing listing information — including prices, descriptions, variations, and files — before applying or publishing any change through Golivo.

6. Local Files and Workspace

Golivo stores your photos, videos, digital files, spreadsheets, and local listing data on your own computer, in a workspace folder you choose.

You are responsible for your own computer, including maintaining backups of your files and data.

Disconnecting a shop or uninstalling Golivo does not necessarily remove your local Workspace or the data stored in it; this data may remain on your computer unless you remove it yourself.

7. Intellectual Property

Golivo's software, branding, website content, and related materials belong to the operator of Golivo or to the applicable rights holders. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Golivo beyond the ability to use it as intended.

You retain all rights to your own content and files — including your product photos, descriptions, and spreadsheets. Using Golivo does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Golivo for any unlawful purpose.

You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Golivo, its underlying code, or the services it connects to.

9. Etsy and Third-Party Services

Golivo depends on Etsy's official API and authorization services to function. Etsy may change its API, access, functionality, or requirements at any time, and such changes may affect how Golivo works.

We do not control Etsy's availability, policies, or decisions.

You remain responsible for complying with Etsy's applicable rules and policies when using Golivo to manage your shop.

10. Availability and Changes to Golivo

We may update, modify, or change Golivo's features over time, including in response to changes in Etsy's API or in the course of ongoing development.

We do not promise that every current feature will remain available or unchanged indefinitely.

11. Disclaimers

Golivo is provided as a software tool to help you prepare and manage Etsy listings more efficiently. It does not guarantee any particular outcome, including sales, search ranking, traffic, revenue, or other business results on Etsy.

You should review listing changes carefully before applying or publishing them, since you are responsible for what is ultimately sent to your Etsy shop.

Etsy Application Disclaimer

THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY OLENA KOBYLNYK (THE "APPLICATION DEVELOPER"). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Golivo and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Golivo, including but not limited to lost sales, lost data, or business interruption.

Golivo is a small, independently operated software product, and this limitation reflects a scale and business model appropriate to that context.

13. Termination / Ending Use

You may stop using Golivo and uninstall it from your computer at any time.

Uninstalling Golivo removes the installed application files, but does not automatically remove your local Workspace folder, listing database, or other data stored outside the application's installation directory. This data may remain on your computer after uninstalling Golivo unless you remove it yourself.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Golivo's functionality changes or as legal requirements evolve. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
